CAFÉ DU CYCLISTE X ARTICLE ONE

The first-ever Café du Cycliste sunglasses are a collaboration with independent eyewear specialists Article One. Curated in America, co-styled in France and handcrafted in Italy with a purposeful blend of function and style, the Article One x Café du Cycliste sunglasses will be available from Friday the 19th of July, in-store and at www.cafeducycliste.com

If matching performance with unique aesthetics is a core Café du Cycliste value and one which is shared by Article One’s desire to provide elegant eyewear that can keep the pace.

The Article One x Café du Cycliste sunglasses are made of durable and lightweight polymer and feature adjustable silicone nose pads and grippers on the insides of the arms to provide comfort for all rides and every condition. The contemporary design ensures one-pair-fits-all as the glasses are refined in all scenes outside of cycling life.

Additional eyewear expertise comes in the form of the Divel, Italian-made, polarized lenses which block 100% of UVA/UVB rays and prevent glare. Anti-reflecting treatment on the interior of the glass ensures clear vision right into the vanishing point on the road ahead.

For Remi Clermont, Café du Cycliste's Co-founder and Creative Director the new venture was a logical step: "when Article One suggested the collaboration, it was a simple decision. As brands, we share the same values: producing and pursuing the highest quality of products manufactured in Europe with a distinct style and which are fit for purpose in a variety of uses. The result more than lives up to our expectations and I’m excited for our customers to try the glasses both on the bike and in all aspects of their outdoor lives."
