Atelier is where imagination meets technology, a place for Café du Cycliste to dial up expression and push the limits of product creation. Fewer rules, less restriction, more freedom.
A collection of audacious garments and accessories produced in limited numbers to the highest standards for Forever Outsiders.
The collection mirrors the freedom of the road within the design and development process itself. By limiting the constraints which are inherent in standard production, the creative possibilities increase exponentially, producing a richer landscape upon which to work.
And this season, the landscape, the earth and geological forms have been dug out for aesthetic inspiration to decorate a batch of special edition performance pieces.
Atelier AW23 features a pattern taken from a microscopic cross section of onyx, a gemstone used throughout history for its beauty and resilience. This design has been lovingly applied to three on-bike road styles, with the functionality and durability to perform under race conditions and foul weather.
The centrepiece, a new design exclusive to Atelier is Ines. A limited edition windproof with built-in Polartec® Alpha® insulation. This lightweight ‘active insulation’ provides twofold warmth and breathability with military-grade technology for sustained comfort in changeable conditions.
Ines has the versatility to provide protection and comfort whenever the weather turns or the temperature falls. This performance gilet is distinguished by a special edition Atelier print – which is a cross section of onyx, a gemstone used throughout history for its beauty and resilience.
Fly through the worst conditions with this super lightweight and packable wind-cheating jacket. Featuring a microscopic cross section of onyx, a gemstone used throughout history for its beauty and resilience, Gaella provides maximum protection and ultimate practicality. Giving you an emergency layer of warmth when needed, the jacket packs into the smallest pocket.
Go into battle with a long sleeve jersey engineered for speed and protection. Featuring a microscopic cross section of onyx, a gemstone used throughout history for its beauty and resilience.
This performance fit jersey is for high tempo training rides, racing conditions and when layering with gilets or jackets. With a micro-brushed finish inside, Alexine is ultra-breathable and made for optimum comfort when moving fast.
Anchored on the côte d'azur, café du cycliste is a french label dedicated to sharing a passion for cycling and the outdoors. Our technical and lifestyle products are predominantly made in Europe, using recycled and sustainable materials wherever possible. Each piece is designed to go further, move faster, and explore more. What began back in 2009 as a simple idea to do things differently has become a community of like-minded people who share the same values, beliefs, and a desire to be #foreveroutsiders.
