The premium cycling apparel brand Café du Cycliste launches a limited edition of its signature Micheline jersey to celebrate the French National Holiday. To coincide with the start of Le Tour 2019, the Micheline Bastille will be available from Friday the 5thof July, in-store and at www.cafeducycliste.com
A turning point of the French Revolution in 1789, the storming of the Bastille is celebrated by French people every year on the 14thof July. Drawing on this heritage, the full French tricolour jersey combines exceptional warm weather road performance due to its combination of ultra-light mesh fabrics with the brand's signature styling and design oh la la.
The special jersey is badged with a contemporary take on Marianne, symbolic of both the revolution and the republic. Wearing a red Phrygian cap, the figure represents France herself and epitomises the values of liberté, égalité, and fraternité.
Available from the 5th of July on www.cafeducycliste.com and in Nice, London, and Mallorca stores.
